At the Edge Foundation, we believe that every child deserves the chance to dream and to achieve their goals. This is not easy, however, because, for children like Aisha, they get entrapped in the cycle of poverty and their dreams tend to become nothing more than a distant reality.

By becoming a sponsor, you can help make a child’s dream come true! You can give them the opportunity to have access to healthcare, food, and education.

You can exchange letters and photos with your sponsored child. You will also have the opportunity to see how your support is helping to transform their lives and the lives of those around them.

Here’s how our child sponsorship programme works:

Sponsor a child – $10 per month (covers the cost of school fee and books)

Sponsor a school kit – $25 once off (included books, uniform, and other essentials)

Sponsor a teacher – $60 per month (covers a salary)

Sponsor a home school – $100 per month (covers the administration and books that a home school requires)

Aisha loves to play hide-and-seek with her brothers and sisters. But despite her smile, she faces a painful daily struggle that many of us could never imagine. Aisha works up to 14 hours a day, 6 days a week. She works making clay bricks alongside her family. This back-breaking work occurs under the baking sun as the laborers choke on the dust that fills the surrounding air. Sometimes they are only served one meal per day.
This story is not uncommon, in fact, several families work long hours in Brick Kilns to pay their debts and just barely survive
